EUMS Chorus is a non-auditioning SATB choir of approximately 200 members. We are currently looking for a piano accompanist to rehearse with us on Tuesday evenings during the semester, starting from mid-September.

Your responsibilities would be to attend all rehearsals and to prepare the relevant sections of the repertoire in advance of each rehearsal (working with our conductor), and you would also have the opportunity to accompany Chorus in some of our concerts. You would ideally be available for both semester 1 and 2, but applications for just semester 1 will be considered. The repertoire for semester 1 will be Carl Orff’s setting of Carmina Burana (repertoire for semester 2 TBC).

This is a fantastic opportunity for pianists and aspiring accompanists to gain experience working with a large choir. Any previous accompanying experience is useful but not essential.
